Our son has absolutely loved chess since he started with LearnChess Academy. Max is fantastic, I was really impressed by his knowledge, but most importantly his ability to engage with all the children and share his passion and knowledge. James was our initial contact when we enquired and I was bowled over by his enthusiasm for the game and his ability to engage me in his excitement for chess (as a non chess player myself). Our son has enjoyed every session he’s attended and cannot wait to go back each week. It’s great to know he’s found a sport that can challenge his mind, build his knowledge and he thoroughly enjoys.

Learn Chess are great, my son has just started his third year with them at his School. He really enjoys it and loves the coaches, and his chess skills have improved immensely. They really do make chess fun whilst teaching them proper tactics

This is my son's 5th year of doing chess at school with LearnChess Academy and he still loves it. LearnChess add to their skills week by week so children are constantly learning new things about the sport which keeps it interesting. They also match them up with those at a similar level keeping it challenging. It is very convenient as it is done once a week in school hours during break time so doesn't feel like an extra activity taking up time in the week. A highlight is always the last session of the term where they get to earn sweets. I would highly recommend LearnChess for any child who would like to give chess a go.

Excellent dedicated coaches, brilliant programme to learn chess and compete at tournaments, it does help to improve studying at school and concentration. My children love these lessons and have great time playing chess! I would definitely recommend this club! Thank you LearnChess Academy!

My kids find chess club so fun, the teachers are brilliant, kind, and thoughtful. The balance of learning on the tablet and then playing games with their peers really stretches them. Their skills have improved significantly in one term and they’re always so proud of the stickers they get!
