Spangles has been brilliant for our son. He’s been coming along to Jimena’s sessions since the age of 3 and he thoroughly enjoys it. She makes the lessons fun and interactive and he has not only picked up a tremendous amount of Spanish but his accent and pronunciation is amazing. The use of games and singing in the lesson is brilliant and keeps our son stimulated and enthused to continue. Thank you Jimena for helping our son progress with a second language, it’s also helping him pick up a third language which he is currently learning at school. Absolutely brilliant service, would give more than 5 stars if we could!

Jimena is a fantastic teacher! Her method of teaching is straightforward and very effective. She is extremely patient and ensures we have fully grasped an element before we move on to the next. My Spanish has come on in leaps and bounds over the past year; I feel more confident in speaking Spanish and it’s really starting to come naturally.

The teacher is very engaged, encouraging and professional. I am impressed how the small class interaction has greatly improved my Spanish. Learning is the right mixture of fun, challenging and assurance that the teacher corrects accordingly. Highly recommended.

Having not studied anything for some 30+ years learning Spanish was going to be a challenge in many ways. But I’m so glad I started as the lessons are hard but done in a relaxed and enjoyable way. It is also so beneficial to have it taught by a Spanish person as you learn the real tricks and sounds of the language. Highly recommend.

Having learned some Spanish from a variety of sources, this regular weekly conversation with a well-qualified Spanish national teacher and a supportive group of students of broadly similar ability has been invaluable in supplying what books and on-line resources can never do. Regular conversation practice with errors immediately explained and corrected - especially some south-American usages that I had accidentally picked up that are not appropriate for Spain. And rather than rigidly following a course plan that might not suit all students, our teacher has been very ready to adapt to the specific needs of the group. I have been stretched, but never in an uncomfotable way. I'm looking forward to slightly more advanced content next trimester.

I couldn’t speak a word of Spanish when I started and was worried I was too old to start. However, the classes are fun, inclusive and you are learning lots every week. The teacher uses visual, verbal and audio which is perfect for me. Hard work but progress is constant
